 I'm thinking [36280] should probably be applied to trunk, and something
 (possibly [attachment:21602.2.diff]) done first thing in 4.6 to allow for
 soak time.

 The problem is that these edgecase environments aren't often using non-
 stable releases, so it's hard to catch early on.
