 Seems it was "undecided" at the end because:

  In Korea and Japan, the O mark is used instead of the check mark. In
 Japan the check mark is commonly used instead of an X for wrong.

 Another question: are we keeping "Advanced" as tooltip for the button that
 opens the (old) modal? Maybe something like "Link options" or "Link
 attributes" or "More settings" would be better?.
