Comment:

 We went back and forth on this couple of times. Most preferred was to have
 the inline dialog as simple as possible, and leave the old modal as
 "advanced settings" where plugins can extend it. That also keeps all
 current plugins working.

 This still could change in a future redesign but not for 4.5.
