 The inability to make use of subtype for taxonomies causes me some
 heartache, given the Fields API intent is to make use of subtypes for post
 types and taxonomies both -- now that taxonomies support meta.

 I can understand though that the initial decision to only support post
 subtypes is where we stand, I just wanted to note my dissent here :)
