 @jadpm I am unable to reproduce the issue as you've described it. If
 you're still experiencing the problem after the upcoming commit to address
 the issue as described by @dd32, please post here with more details,
 including plugins (I know you said "vanilla", but just to be sure), and
 info about your WP environment - particularly, whether you have any object
 caching enabled.
