 One of the reasons we wanted to roll this in early is to find the
 breakages, and it seems like we're finding a bit. :)

 Let's change the return type back to the array and expose the Response
 object another way.

 There are still other smaller issues to be fixed as well; the cURL timeout
 is an issue I've been looking into, and think I may have a solution for.
 I'm not sure of any other breakage apart from these two issues though.
