 I don't see the good sense in shipping a plugin, which users from the EU-
 countries, especially Germany, will not use, or if they do, '''even get
 the risk of punishment''' by law!!
 It's not Akismet is good or bad itself, it's the ground where you put the
 seeds.
 The logical step in my eyes is cutting it out, maybe leaving a message "To
 protect your site from spam, we offer Aksimet blabla..."
 I don't think it's like a loaded gun, but when WP is a sexy hitchhiker,
 then Akismet is the troll coming out of the shrubbery the moment you stop
 and open the door ;-)
