Comment:

 Tested in both the Text and the Visual editors with and without auto-
 scrolling enabled. Can't seem to get it to "loose position" after Ctrl+Z.
 Perhaps it was in the Text editor and was fixed in [37603] or after
 upgrading TinyMCE?

 Closing as worksforme for now, feel free to reopen with steps to reproduce
 if it is still a problem.
