 Personally, when I leave a comment on a site, I am not inviting a follow-
 up response via email.  I expect any follow-up discussion to occur within
 the comments.

 I can understand your use-case. Being able to reply to the comment
 notification email to communicate directly with the comment author would
 save you a few steps.

 WordPress powers such a broad range of websites, I don't think this
 request is broad enough for a WordPress core change.

 We do have a filter, `comment_notification_headers`, that would allow a
 plugin to implement your request.
