 Hi @rabmalin thanks for the report.

 WordPress limits the display size of large images added through the editor
 to the value of `$content_width` in `image_constrain_size_for_editor()`,
 but if I'm reading your description correctly, it sounds like the issue
 you're describing isn't related to content images.

 I don't fully understand what you mean by 'this problem arises if post
 thumbnail large is used.' Could you leave some steps to reproduce the
 issue?
