 Thank you for your quick response, very much appreciated.
 I have taken a look into the ticket you have mentioned, yes the ticket is
 almost describers the same issue except i did not get 404. the page was
 refreshed ans stayed on same page on redirect.
 But the fix provided by "pento" here

 It did work for me.

 I hope you people will fix the issue in upcoming update.
