 I [https://github.com/rmccue/realguids wrote a plugin] to generate actual
 UUIDs for the GUID. It also uses the `urn:uuid:` syntax so it's compatible
 with people expecting URLs. It adds `urn:` as an allowed protocol,
 although we can probably get away with just not running `esc_url_raw`.
