 This looks really good. My only comment would be to make the hover and
 focus styles different. The simplest way to do that would be to remove the
 bottom border on the hover state. I mocked it up in
 [attachment:31195.10.diff]

 I also changed the transition so it only applies to the background. It
 looked kind of janky on the border because it is such a high contrast
 change.
