 I think being able to enhance the exporter with plugins would be very
 helpful. If there was a filter for the export options where custom export
 queries could be made to possibly return the $post_ids to be exported I
 think that would be a great addition because I recently had to edit the
 core export file to build a custom export query. I noticed one plugin
 attempted this but resorted to completely replacing the export.php file.
