 Thanks @AnitaH for submitting the issue. I've taken an initial look and
 will ask around as well.

 Context for I've had a look in the current polyglot translation strings
 and they are correctly set `Kia Ora`
 https://translate.wordpress.org/locale/en-nz/default/wp.

 en_NZ.po and en_NZ.mo are incorrect and causing this. The admin-en_NZ
 .mo/po files in `/content/languages/` are correct.
