 Just to add my voice in here - this issue is affecting all users with
 custom feeds. It is very far-reaching and {{{39157.3.patch}}} fixes the
 issue. I'm not able to do the unit tests for this, but general testing
 shows it to work. Any plugin that relies on custom feeds (such as
 podcasting plugins and even sitemap generators it seems) is affected by
 this, so this patch needs to be included 4.7.1.
