Comment:

 I'm slightly torn here. The fact that there is a catch by putting into
 trash makes having a step less important. You are in the trash and
 confirming by clicking there. In theory to get to Trash isn't an accident,
 although yes someone could browse to there.

 At this point, I'd probably vote against having a confirm message as you
 are already confirming by being in trash. What I would be, is open to any
 user evidence this happens though as an accident. If we get enough
 evidence we should change it.
