Comment:

 It sounds like the bad `object-cache.php` dropin is at fault here.  That
 issue is already being tracked at #39132, so I'm closing this as a
 duplicate.

 If this specific issue can be traced to something else, let's reopen,
 otherwise, let's focus on fixing this in #39132.
