 If anyone else is having this issue the same conflict exists with the
 latest versions of:

 https://wordpress.org/plugins/nav-menu-roles/
 https://wordpress.org/plugins/menu-items-visibility-control/

 However

 https://wordpress.org/plugins/if-menu/

 Seems to work.
