 @austinnort I was going to say spring, but it looks like WordPress
 Releases will be handled a bit differently in the future, so I can't
 guarantee anything. The patch doesn't need to be provided by y'all, anyone
 can contribute.

 As soon as a patch emerges, we can add this to trunk and it would be
 included in the next release.
