Comment:

 In [attachment:38992.patch], I applied @afercia's suggestion of
 simplifying the line `$( siteNavigation.closest( '.main-navigation' ),
 this ).toggleClass( 'toggled-on' );`, which also appears to fix the
 reported issue with the menu toggle.
