 Make sure that you aren't experiencing any errors with your other plugins
 or theme when experiencing http upload errors. Any output, error reporting
 or echoing, will break ajax processing and will interfere with uploads
 causing an  error.  There are a few ways to track down the culprit.  The
 easy way: Try turning off debug or outputting it to debug.log.  You could
 try disabling other plugins to determine the issue.  Try switching themes
 to determine that it's not an issue with the theme.  I think that it could
 also be a database issue, so backing up your database (very important) and
 running a repair on it might help. In short , it is possible that ajax is
 receiving data that it can't process because of the warning messages that
 are  interfering with your uploads and possibly thumbnail generation.
