Comment:

 OK to close this, since it's a bit in conflict with other future taxonomy
 efforts.

 I may be able to pull this off in a plugin to get a PoC, and depending on
 how viable a true relationships table ends up being, I'll try to remember
 to circle back and update here or there. <3
