 Do you have the link to the Slack conversation by chance? Because earlier
 the consensus seemed to be `is_wp_ajax_request()` or `is_wp_ajax()`.

 [attachment:25669.4.patch] improves the docs already quite a bit (thanks
 @sebastian.pisula!). However, the filter needs to be documented and a
 description added to the `@return`.
