 Looking at this, I see it tagged as `[Javascript]` but if it is persistent
 then I assume it is also related to the back end.

 I have a concern but the amount of documentation around this is too great
 for me to review at this moment.  My concern is in making sure that if you
 add some type of ''"transactions"'' to WordPress that they not be coupled
 to Customizer but that they be a separate feature that could be accessed
 separately from the Customizer.

 Can you speak to that?
