 @johnjamesjacoby Well, I added the `close` keyword 5 weeks ago and nobody
 objected. And comment
 [https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/24169#comment:17 #17] seemed to
 indicate that loading the user early is something that can't be
 eliminated.
