 Thanks for bringing this up, Sebastian.

 Given the uncertain future of Post Fromats in core, I think we should hold
 off on this for the moment. I'm personally not a huge fan of the way that
 `_s` and default themes have worked around it and I agree it would be nice
 to have a more streamlined solution for this, but it's more important to
 maintain forward compatibility than to add something to the template
 hierarchy now that we will have to support forever.
