 Thanks for your comments. Yep, they are dismissable, and no they didn't
 return, but when there's multiple updates over consecutive days, it does
 get a bit annoying having to dismiss them every day you login to your site
 (if you keep your site updated). Also, one of the plugins there will
 display the notification for every single admin user, so even after you
 dismiss it, every other admin will get the same notificaiton as well and
 also need to dismiss it. And as you can see in the screenshot, one of the
 notifications is simply used for advertising the developers others
 extensions.

 It just seems that more and more plugins now are displaying these
 notifications after every update so it would be great if there was a way
 to have them cleared automatically. If you're simply updating a plugin
 that you've been using for months or even years, you don't really need to
 be notified about where to find the documentation or settings page after
 every single update.
