Comment:

 [attachment:13041.diff 13041.diff] stops `/something/` (a broken page)
 from redirecting to `/2015/09/18/something-else/` - requires a little bit
 of guessing what is happening. This breaks 2 unit tests, which is expected
 as it fixes the issue described in the ticket.
