 I can run a more thorough search on a plugin slurp whenever it manages to
 finish updating, but even a quick
 [https://github.com/search?l=php&q=get_sample_permalink_html&ref=searchresults&type=Code&utf8=%E2%9C%93
 GitHub search] brings up a very large set of results for the
 `get_sample_permalink_html` hook. I imagine a number of these are taking
 advantage of the spot for things unrelated to the permalink.
