 I guess I was thinking mainly of jQueryUI autocomplete. We already package
 it, and we already use it in a few places, as when adding an existing user
 to a site. I don't know how much work it would be to migrate over (I'm
 guessing a moderate amount), and I don't know how much stuff in the wild
 would be broken by moving away from select.js (I'm guessing fairly little,
 since it's not extensible anyway).
