it doesn't suggest that the slug is used in a publicly accessible
permalink. Let me know what you think.
This reminded me that I had envisioned the slug field being in that
position at all times, whether for a permalink or a slug being used in
other ways, and then getting rid of the metabox as default UI. See #18523.
