Logistical question: Is there a good way to manage 18 separate patches (2
more files since the last patch use Cheatin), all possibly in flux?
Alternatively, we could follow the inline docs approach of opening tickets
for each file (or group of files) and use this one as a master thread.
For 4.4, how about replace the messaging as first priority. Stretch goal
use WP_DEBUG for additional info, but can punt that to 4.5+ if it puts
anything at risk for 4.4.
