 I recognize that you're frustrated, but a little bit of understanding goes
 a long way here on Trac. The nature of software development is that
 sometimes when you fix something, you break something else. It's
 inevitable.

 Reinforcing a point by effectively putting down the work of a lot of
 people who came before isn't constructive. If the email is badly
 formatted, let's fix it and move on. If you'd like to help solve the
 problem, please, test the patch and provide feedback.
