Comment:

 As of #33641 content images automatically have all applicable intermediate
 sizes included in a `srcset` attribute using `w` descriptors. This means
 that any device with a high density display using a browser with support
 for `srcset` and `sizes` will load the larger version of the image
 automatically as long as a one is available.
