 Sure - https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/34281#ticket

 If the section was extendable (like I didn't have to make a new 'mischief'
 section in the profile) a plugin would work fine for the long run, but
 being able to just send folks a password reset link will help support a
 ton.
