 I don't have any immediate concerns with this enhancement, and if it's
 helpful for other developers to explicitly have this information, we
 should probably make it available. I would have reservations about
 changing the 'value' property of the array, since values could also be
 used to describe density values (e.g. 1x, 2x), but that's not what's being
 proposed here.
