 For larger sites that have a massive number of pages this is causing
 issues. The steps in the original description properly duplicate this.

 The plugin by @SergeyBiryukov works as designed, but when you're dealing
 with a large number of pages (> 500) the nav menu page takes a long time.

 The patch by @Aries-Belgium run into the same load time issues.
