 This would also appear to affect permalink_structure, category_base,
 tag_base, moderation_keys, blacklist_keys,  blogdescription, blogname,
 date_format, time_format, mailserver_url, mailserver_login,
 mailserver_pass, and upload_path as well because of the way they use
 `wpdb::strip_invalid_text_for_column()`

 I don't see how this is limited to MS only though. Theoretically the same
 sanitization is also used for single site isn't it?
