 I like this, as long as there's an option to allow users to disable it :)
 The first thing I do in editors like LibreOffice, etc. is going through
 the preferences and disable all the automatic conversion ("AutoCorrect") I
 don't use or like. What if I want to actually type an asterisk `*` or a
 double hyphen `--`, etc. ?
