 I can confirm this bug in subfolder Multisite in WP 4.1.1. Using the
 standard .htaccess rules for subfolder multisite.

 Would be great if someone can get a fix pushed into the core .htaccess
 rules. I can't imagine that these redirect loops wouldn't have at least
 some negative impact on Apache performance.
