 Thanks Sergey. I don't have access to the php.ini on this hosting so could
 not check myself.

 It's strange that the problem appeared to happen after the upgrade to
 4.1.1, around 4pm UK time on the 18th Feb.

 I'm waiting for confirmation of the exact cause of the problm from the
 hosting company.
