 As mentioned in Slack, changes introduced in [attachment:31484.3.diff]
 were to support the writing of unit tests. So nothing from .3 should be
 needed to be added to [attachment:31484.2.diff]  for the 4.1.2 bugfix
 release:

 Additional changes in .3: https://github.com/xwp/wordpress-

 The .3 changes could be committed separately for the 4.2 release.
