 We have a button to re-install the currently installed version of
 WordPress core.

 It would be nice to have a way to do the same thing with existing plugins
 and themes from the Admin UI.

 As much as we hope spam/malware does not happen ever, it does still occur.
 Having a quick way to start the plugin fresh without trace of the infected
 files would make cleaning up infected sites more efficient than having to
 s/ftp into the server and manually upload/clean up.

 This is also only my immediate idea of why the functionality would be
 beneficial and I'm sure others could think of more reasons.
