 Simple suggestion if I may: add a filter in `get_user_locale()`?
 Reason: `admin-ajax.php` and `admin-post.php` can be used for front-end
 stuff, so a plugin could filter the returned value depending on a
 `$_REQUEST['lang']` parameter for example.
