 You could try a plugin that logs external HTTP calls to see what it's
 getting back - Cron Control does it (have to turn on a module or two), I'm
 sure there are others as well. Perhaps try deleting the oEmbed caches for
 that post, re-saving, checking what's in the DB, and seeing what got
 logged.
