 To be fair upfront, one of the biggest downsides is that this would happen
 in `wp-config.php` and that's one of the ideal places to use this
 information.

 It'd be great to more easily define site config constants (like database
 details) based on what environment is. I don't know the way around that,
 and that's my biggest question as to whether a constant would be the right
 route, or if there is a more low lying issue that would need fixing to
 make this the most valuable.
