 Even though Post-Formats may not be fully "viable" as is; and, as much as
 I agree with the sentiments put forward by @chipbennett and @greenshady I
 do not agree with Post-Formats being put into a plugin ... unless,
 perhaps, that plugin is auto-installed/activated with the iteration of
 core if/when the move is made?

 Given the confusion of end-users that is being suggested here, how would
 they feel if all of a sudden the core functionality they relied on was no
 longer there at all (unless they tracked down this promised plugin)?
