 Okay, after some hassle installing PHP52 again and also configuring it
 I've managed to get a testing site on my local Mac.

 I had some issue with a stuck mail queue to contend with as well hence the
 delay.

 But, PHPMailer as patched in the most recent patch is delivering emails
 using WP 4.3beta1-33046-src. I've sent reset password emails and also sent
 emails from the Subscribe2 plugin using the Send Email page.

 Anything else in particular you want me to check?
