 Is this going to make it into 4.1.1? It's a really annoying issue.
 Especially when you're dealing with custom taxonomies and can't use any of
 the action hooks in `wp_update_term` because the code errors before
 they're executed. The only option would be to filter at
 `wp_update_term_parent` as an interim solution.
